Under the supervision of the chef, the pastry baker is in charge of the bakery, preparing and serving breakfast.

  • Prepares and serves breakfast by alternating between eggs cooked in various ways, pastries, muffins, granola and other dishes that make up a healthy meal
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cookies and desserts
  • Select or develop recipes
  • Determine the ingredients needed and their quantities
  • Respect the budget for production
  • Maintain work areas and tools in a clean and orderly fashion

  • Completion of secondary school 
  • One-year experience as baker
  • Professional attitudes and behaviour (teamwork skills, autonomy, dynamism, interpersonal skills, honesty, versatility, sense of initiative, organizational skills, etc.)
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Creativity
  • Manual dexterity and speed of execution
  • Attention to detail
