Salary: $19.00 - $19.50 CAD per hour

  • Baking croissants, pastry, and other baked goods with speed based on standard of products (SOP)

  • Supervising a team of bakers and associates responsible for multiple tasks including, but not limited to, baking, customer service, and drink making to achieve sales goals

  • Applying proven experience in and previous knowledge of working in a sales-driven, customer-centric, team-oriented environment to supervise staff and oversee sales, quality assurance, inventory, and daily operations to maximize sales and staff efficiency

  • Making coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks with speed based on standard of products

  • Serving and selling with passion and professionalism

  • Managing the cleanliness of the whole bakery

  • Resolving customer, staff, and store issues and reporting all incidents to the Manager if conflict requires escalation   

  • Assisting the Manager with ordering, organization, tracking, and reporting of baking supplies

  • Providing frequent feedback and suggestions to the Manager with regards to inventory, sales, and staff performance

  • Championing health and safety regulations and education to create a safe, clean, welcoming, positive, and enjoyable environment for customers and employees

  • Assisting the Manager with staff training and coaching of baking personnel

  • Stepping in with skills and experience to manage the bakery in the absence of the manager or managing directors

  • Being flexible to fill shifts should there be sick employees

  • Bringing a smile to each customer and treating colleagues the same way and effectively and skillfully addressing all concerns and issues with logic, kindness, and results-driven resolutions




  • Food Handler/Safety Certificate is required

  • Demonstrated increasing responsibilities at current or previous companies to show initiatives, accountability, and commitment to personal and professional growth

  • 1+ year of experience in baking at a franchise location, preferably baking Asian food

  • 1+ year of supervisory experience in a bakery setting

  • Previous experience and excellent command of interpersonal skills including sales, communications, issues management, customer service, and a calm, positive, friendly, can-do attitude to solve problems, to learn, to adapt, and to treat everyone with respect, empathy, and kindness

  • Innate business acumen including proven operational excellence, relationship management, and meticulous attention to detail

  • Full flexibility for work shifts (no restrictions on availability) 3 hours before opening time and 1 hour past closing time daily
