Banquet House Attendant

 
Department: Banquets
Reports to: Director of Banquets  

Status: On-Call

The Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is looking for someone who shares our passion for excellence and seeks to create a memorable experience for our employees and guests. Core Responsibilities

  • Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.

  • Stock ice, glassware and paper supplies;

  • Set up and maintain cleanliness of bar/meeting area;

  • Set-up and clear china, glass, silver, linen, tables, chairs, and props for banquet functions

  • Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that they are in good condition;

  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function spaces according to maintenance programs and plans;

  • Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely;

  • Execute the set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order;

  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors;

  • Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in the same role, ideally in a luxury hotel environment;

  • The ability to carry up to 30lbs (13kg);

  • An affinity for guest service and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Move about facility and stand for long periods of time;

  • A flexible, on-call schedule with the ability to work all shifts: days, nights, weekends and holidays.
