Job description
The service clerk is the link between the kitchen and the dining room. He/she supports the waiters and waitresses during the service according to their directives, in order to ensure an outstanding gastronomic experience for the customers. More generally, he/she collaborates with other members of the dining room team to ensure good communication between the dining room and kitchen teams.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Clear and straighten tables according to established standards;
- Ensure cleanliness of dining room, bathrooms and workstations;
- Prepare and fill the various workstations (SAM, bar, terrace);
- Assist with plate service;
- Assist the waiter in setting up the dining room and pass before service begins;
- Enhance product knowledge to ensure fast, accurate service;
- Inquire about customer satisfaction at every opportunity;
- Respond to all customer requests;
- Ensure cleanliness of work area and dining room;
- Work in collaboration with the kitchen and dining room teams to ensure efficient and adequate service for customers;
- Perform all other tasks required for the smooth running of dining room service.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years experience in the same or similar position;
- Training in food service or cooking (asset);
- Developed sense of stress and priority management;
- Leadership and excellent communication skills;
- Autonomy and initiative;
- Flexible availability;
- Bilingualism.
