CAFETERIA COOK Monday to Friday Afternoon Shift Needed - McNeil Consumer Healthcare 890 Woodlawn

We need an experienced Cook to join our team at our Cafe in the McNeil Consumer Healthcare facility in Guelph. Position is available to start immediately 

Location: 890 Woodlawn Rd West

Wage: $16/hour

Shifts : 12pm - 8 pm - Monday to Friday - No Weekends

Duties:

• Assist Chef during food preparation performing duties such as: wash, peel, slice vegetables

• Follow the recipes/menu provided.

• Ensure overall quality and presentation of the food is appealing.

• Ensure meals are served on time, and work on the serving line during meal service periods

• Re-stock work areas and ensure proper stock rotation.

• Clean the kitchen as per cleaning schedule.

• Other reasonable requests from management.

• Complete required HACCP logs and systematic routine checks on HACCP logs.

• Ensuring strict compliance with Compass’ Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations

Other duties will include:

• cashier duties
• general clean up
• making coffee
• being an excellent team player 

• Previous experience in the food service environment required

• Previous food preparation and cooking experience required

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Able to communicate with managers, customers, and other employees
