We are looking for an honest and dynamic person to fill the position mentioned above for the magnificent 136-room resort, located at the top of a mountain. For more than 80 years, the Hotel and Spa Mont Gabriel has offered warm and professional customer service as well as excellent cuisine in the colors of the local market.

Under the responsibility of the Executive Chef, the cook produces the dishes served in the establishment while respecting the quality criteria.

 

• Pay particular attention to allergies and set up according to the menus.
• Familiarize yourself with the table of daily tasks and prepare the missing items listed.
• Take out of refrigerators, freezers and warehouses, the required foods and ensure their freshness and inform their immediate superior.
• Cook meat and fish for main courses.
• Prepare fruits and vegetables for serving.
• Prepare the starches according to the menus.
• Prepare garnishes and decorations for the plates.
• Heat the bread needed for serving
• In the case of a buffet-type menu, ensure that all cold and hot dishes are ready on time.
• Assemble the plates according to the orders, make a beautiful presentation and respect the required temperatures, all according to established standards.
• Prepare desserts and coffee breaks for the day
• Put the mise en place back in the refrigerators, pack, date them and write down on the daily task board, the items to be prepared for the next day.
