The 65 seating places restaurant will soon be the talk of the town as our new decor and ambiance will attract as much a young and hip clientele, as much as the many tourists wandering around in search of a different experience in the old Montreal.
The Executive Chef plans and prepares lunch, dinner and brunch menus. He does all the purchases, is responsible for the product quality, keeps track of the inventory and minimizes losses.
The Executive Chef ensures the smooth running of the kitchen. He manages the budget, cost and Human Resources of the kitchen. He hires and manages his brigade. He makes the schedules, acts as coach and trainer of every member of the brigade.
The Executive Chef will perform daily inspections of the kitchen, ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, health and safety standards.
The Executive Chef also ensures customer satisfaction by the speed and quality of the dishes presented. In order to do that, he maintains a good communication with staff members of the dining room.
