POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are currently looking for an experienced Sous-Chef or Cook ready to take on challenges with a new dynamic team to fill a permanent full-time position to support the Chef-Cuisinier at the Jardins Le Flandre residence in Quebec. Located in the heart of Limoilou, the Jardins Le Flandre residence has the pleasure of welcoming a golden clientele, autonomous or with a loss of autonomy. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere where we feel at home. Schedule: Full time 40h/week 1 weekend out of 2 :::
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble plates of food
- Clean kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
- Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
- Perform meal preparation while supervising and mobilizing staff in the kitchen
- Perform other related duties
- Use products and equipment according to the safety, quality, hygiene and cleanliness rules and standards in effect

Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Flexibility for the work schedule
- Training certification (MAPAQ)
- knowledge of a Maitre D
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
- At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in a large restoration
