Job description
We are looking for someone with a passion for restaurant work to take charge of our bar program in our new restaurant. He/she must have 4 years experience in a high end establishment with some experience in dining room and in bar positions. Generally this person will need to offer our guest an exceptional gastronomic experience. You need to be organized in your work and be attentive to the highest needs of our clients while having pleasure in your work. The position is in a restaurant and the candidate must master service as well as bar work.
- Take charge of our alcool list ;
- Create our seasonal craft cocktail list ;
- Manage all mise en place for the bar ;
- Participate in cost control and inventory management ;
- Active participation in our wine program ;
- Insure good service flow ;
- Insure customer satisfaction ;
- Offer a friendly service while maintaining the highest standards ;
- Explain the menu and properly guide the client to offer him an optimal experience ;
- All other related tasks.
Requirements
- Strong bar experience ;
- 4 years experience in service ;
- Excellent knowledge in alcohol and cocktails ;
- Knowledge in gastronomy ;
- Good knowledge in wine ;
- Excellent skills in customer service ;
- Capacity to work in a team ;
- Skills in sales ;
- Can work under pressure ;
- Knowledge of Maître D' ;
- Bilingualism ;
- Organizational skills.
