Job description
The head bartender is responsible for the management of the bars in our restaurants. He/she creates the cocktail menus for the different points of sale of the hotel. He/she establishes the preparation and set-up lists, trains new employees and ensures that established procedures are followed. Organizes the bar to work efficiently and follows up on the beverage inventory. He/she takes orders, prepares drinks and serves them in a way that meets the customers’ demands. The bar manager, is on the lookout for new trends in alcohol while mastering classic cocktails.

Essential Job Functions :
- Create cocktail menus for the different points of sale of the hotel;
- Participate in the calculation of costs;
- Establish preparation lists and standardization sheets;
- Train and supervise employees;
- Set up the bar to ensure that all products and equipment are available;
- Greet customers at the bar with courtesy;
- Take orders from customers or servers;
- Prepare and serve drinks;
- Prepare the bill and collect payment;
- Take inventory of the bar and make requisitions;
- Keep the bar clean. Wash and put away dishes used for serving drinks and coffee;
- Assist the room service team when necessary;
- Ensure customer satisfaction and receive complaints, if any.
Requirements
Qualifications and skills required :
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines and current trends;
- Excellent customer service approach;
- Leadership;
- Ability to work well under pressure;
- Flexible availability;
- Organizational skills.
