POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under the responsibility of the Chef, the /the incumbent assists the chef and the cooks in their tasks. He/She participates in the preparation of cold dishes and desserts, cuts and peels vegetables or fruit, sets up plates, prepares meal trolleys.
Permanent full-time position, daytime from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble plates of food
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
- Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and the workspace
- Manning the warm table, help residences with their choices
- Perform other related duties
- Supervise the preparation of cold meals and desserts

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good team player
- Good sense of interpersonal communication
- Good communication
- Experience in a large restoration's volume (an asset)
