Under the responsibility of the chef, the night cook is responsible for assisting the kitchen team in the preparation of dishes, the smooth running of the service and the maintenance of the cleanliness of the workspaces.
Job description :
- Performs the preparation of the ingredients necessary for the preparation of the dishes;
- Prepare the dishes that belong to the party while ensuring that the food is put in place;
- Work independently and without immediate supervision;
- Collaborate on cleaning the kitchen;
- Applies hygiene and sanitation standards;
- Implements occupational health and safety standards;
- Performs all other tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the kitchen.
Qualifications and required skills :
· Established cooking class (an asset);
· Hygiene and sanitation course;
· 2 years of experience, ideally in a hospitality context;
· Attention to detail;
· Ability to react well under pressure;
· Sense of organization.
