Operations Manager

Dazi Ventures Inc dba Lucky’s Smokehouse is a licensed restaurant located in Sechelt, BC. It was established in 2010. The key product of the restaurant is smoked and barbecue meats such as chicken, pork and beef. The restaurant also serves other foods such as soups, sandwiches, salads, and deserts. The meats are smoked with a wood smoker that gives the cooked meats the most flavorful results out of all the smoking methods. The smoking process is prolonged to give the meats extra tenderness and flavor. Lucky’s Smokehouse is one of the most popular restaurants in Sunshine Coast area. 

Title of the position: Operations Manager 

Terms of employment: permanent full-time position

Wage: $43.00/hour

Hours per week: 40 hours

Job duties: 

1. Overseeing the functions of employees including managers and all staff 

2. Formulating objectives on behalf of the restaurant and approving policies and programs 

3. Formulating and approving promotional campaigns for “Lucky’s Smokehouse” including brochures and online social media 

4. Selecting and hiring middle managers to run the restaurant 

5. Authorizing and organizing kitchen department and front line department and their managers 

6. Allocating material, human and financial resources to implement restaurant policies and service programs, establishing financial and administrative controls 

7. Co-ordinating the work between kitchen and front line 

8. Delegating the general/kitchen manager to act on behalf of the company in negotiations of purchase and other functions
