Title of the position- Restaurant Manager (NOC 0631)

Job duties:

·         Address customers' complaints or concerns.

·          Recruit, train and supervise staff.

·          Participate in marketing plans and implementation.

·          Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.

·         Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.

·          Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

·         Develop, implement and analyze budgets.

·         Provide customer service.

·         Supervise  5-10 people.

·         Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.

·          Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.

·         Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.

·         Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.

·         Conduct performance reviews.

·         Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.

·          Organize and maintain inventory.

·         Budgetary Responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000.

·         Business Equipment and Computer Applications: MS Excel. Point of sale system. MS Office.

 

Terms of employment: Permanent full time;

Benefits: Extended health benefits after three months of probation

Language of work- English

Wages: $ 27.00/ hr for 40 hrs per week
