A 5-star Relais & Châteaux lakeside inn, Manoir Hovey is looking for a Sommelier to join the award-winning team at the Le Hatley Restaurant.

Under the direction of the Restaurant Manager, the Sommelier is responsible for the smooth running of service and customer satisfaction, and for the management and development of the staff. His/her main duties will be to:

- Greeting customers upon their arrival
- Assist in the management of the wine cellar
- Be able to advise customers on both the menu and the wine list
- Provide an exceptional customer service
- Participate in the management, training and professional development of the restaurant team
- Adhere to department goals, budgets, policies and procedures

- Team spirit, dynamism, organizational skills, initiative
- Excellent culinary and oenological knowledge
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Bilingual (french & english minimum)
- Knowledge of Maitre D software, an asset
- 3 to 5 years of experience in gourmet restaurants (Relais & Châteaux, Michelin, 4 or 5 Diamonds CAA/AAA or equivalent...)
