insurance. $300.00/month bonus for scheduling staff.

Duties:
· Prepare and cook South Indian and North Indian cuisine
· Prepare and cook individual dishes
· Ensure the quality of food and determine size of food quantity;
· Prepare the dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances including pans and cooking utensils are clean to avoid cross contamination;
· Inspect kitchen and food service areas and instruct night cleaning staff for cleanliness;
· Maintain inventory and records of food supplies;
· Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff;
· Create new recipes;
· Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food; and
· Scheduling kitchen staff, when necessary.
Requirements· 3 years of experience as a chef/cook
· Experience cooking in a traditional Indian restaurant
· In depth knowledge of traditional North and South Indian cooking methods
· In depth knowledge of traditional North and South Indian cuisine and spices
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
· Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
