Ensures the cleanliness of the kitchen, dishware, silverware and storage areas. Assists all departments of the Food & Beverage division.
Remove and dispose waste/garbage.
Clean, maintain and stock silverware as per a pre-established cleaning plan.
Clean, stock and store all dishware, silverware, glassware of all restaurant department areas.
Clean, stock and store all utensils and large cooking equipment.
Ensure cleanliness of all restaurant department workspaces.
Help all departments of the F&B division when needed.
Properly handle and store chemicals in a safe storage area.
Report all incidents immediately to a supervisor.
Ensure the cleanliness of dishes, casseroles and equipment used on a daily basis.
Maintain the cleanliness of all machinery and ensure they are in good condition.
Maintain area cleanliness and immediately clean if there is clutter or overflows.
Apply and have proper knowledge of quality standards relating to this position.
Dust, clean floors, polish equipment in the following areas: Pastry, Fridges, Kitchens, Room Service areas
Desired Qualifications and Skills
Must be available to work days, evenings, overnight, and weekends as required.
Move and stand for long periods of time.
Know how to work in a team setting while also being autonomous.
Knowledge materials such as silverware, porcelain, glassware etc. is a plus.
Knowledge of cleaning methods (dishwashers, dishware, cleaning products, etc.) is a plus.
Good knowledge of health and safety rules and regulations
