Job description
Restaurant Shogun, a Japanese fusion cuisine hotspot in Quebec City, is looking for a passionate Sushi Chef (Sushi-man) to join our dynamic team. Whether you're a motivated beginner or have some experience, we offer training and growth opportunities in a fun and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh sushi (nigiri, maki, sashimi) and other sushi bar items.
- Engage with customers behind the sushi counter for an immersive experience.
- Help create new rolls and specials (creativity is a plus!).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team in a lively and friendly atmosphere.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- No experience required (prior Japanese cuisine experience is a plus).
- Willingness to learn – we train the right people!
- Good physical stamina (standing manual work).
- Proficient in English and/or French to interact with guests and team members.
- Team player, positive attitude, and passion for Japanese food!
