Hello! 
I have moved to Montreal in March 2017 to pursue my career in the music industry as an independent artist manager and am looking for a part-time position to support myself besides my work with music and artists.  
Back in Hamburg, Germany, I have had several positions in bars and cafés throughout the duration of my studies in music management. That includes a yearlong position at Café Johanna which offers organic and eco-conscious products, from self-made cakes and soups over breakfast and lunch to their organic choices of coffee. This job required me to prepare the food offered on the menu as well as the food sold as take-out products, serve clients and take care of the cleanliness of the café itself.  
After a year at Café Johanna I changed position and started working at the pastry shop & café Herr Max. Herr Max is one of Hamburg most renowned cafés which is recommended by many important travel guides and offers delicate patisserie products like tarts, cakes and pralines as well as breakfast choices and the classic German “Abendbrot” (traditional German dinner). My job at Herr Max also required waiting tables, serving clients, preparing the breakfast and dinner and serving the pastry products. The owners of the café highly valued a neat presentation of their pastry products and coffee choices and put a lot of effort into the look and appearance of the shop and café which led to all employees developing a sharp eye for details.  
Just before moving away from Hamburg to Montreal I have worked at Pony Bar, a student-run bar/café in Hamburg’s university complex. Pony Bar is a café during the day and turns into a bar with small concerts and DJ-Sets at night. The fact that it is student-run proofs everyone involved to be able to work autonomously and responsibly, taking care of the café and its processes with care and communicate with one another to secure a smooth operation of the business.
Besides my experiences in service I have had several positions in the music industry such as concert promoter, show production manager, tour manager for the Montreal-based band The Loodies and in sales at Warner Music. My work in the music industry, especially as an independent artist manager, proofs me to be reliable and able to work autonomously and self-directed, handle several tasks and projects simultaneously and keep an overview over all developments, as well as develop and adhere to my own schedules and time management. I am completely flexible in creating my own schedule and able to step in spontaneously whenever needed.
Besides my broad interest in music I have a big passion for traveling and foreign cultures. This passion led me to visit countries such as Russia, Colombia, Vietnam and many other places around the world which not only benefitted my personal development through cultural influences, but also strengthened my knowledge of the English and French language.
