We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.</p><p class="text-node">Position Overview:</p><p class="text-node">At Playground, our Cage Cashiers are among the best in the industry, providing exceptional service to our guests around the clock, ensuring seamless and secure transactions for our valued customers. We are looking for dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team and maintain the high standards we’re known for.</p><p class="text-node">What we have to offer:</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Competitive compensation ($24/hour + $2/hour premium for hours worked between 9pm and 5am)</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Comprehensive paid training (Must be available for daytime training for 2-4 weeks)</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Opportunities for career advancement</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Company-wide events</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Playground Cares volunteer opportunities</p></li></ul><p class="text-node">Availability: Flexibility is key. Our 24/7 operation requires candidates who can work up to 5 shifts per week, including evenings, overnight, and weekends.</p><p class="text-node">Training Commitment: All candidates must be available for a paid training period of up to 4 weeks, which includes day shifts.</p><p class="text-node">Application Process:</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Applicants will be asked to complete a math skills test without the use of a calculator or cell phone.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Those who succeed will have a criminal and credit check processed. </p></li><li><p class="text-node">Once approved, you’ll be scheduled for Cage Cashier School (group training) during regular business hours. Training may last up to 4 weeks.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node">Compensation: Training is paid at a rate of $16.25 per hour.</p><p class="text-node">Responsibilities:</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Handle cash tickets, coins, or chips for customers and team members.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Handle large amounts of money (accounting for total funds received throughout the day and closing numbers).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Exchange foreign currency for customers.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Operate any and all office devices (ex. computer, calculators, and money counter machines).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Identify and accurately deal with different denominations (chips, cash currency, POS terminal).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain accountability over a cashier drawer and balance it at the end of shift.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Perform all duties in a confidential manner, and in compliance with local laws and regulations.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain database (updating customer records and flagging of duplicate accounts).</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Assist in counting and balancing all revenue related tasks.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Have knowledge of the regulations, policies, and procedures relating to the Cage department.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Report illegal activity to Security and Surveillance or appropriate levels of Management.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>
