Job description

<p class="text-node">Our 144-room hotel is looking for a motivated, autonomous <strong>Maintenance Attendant</strong> who is recognized for their leadership. Under the supervision of the <strong>Maintenance Director</strong>, the person in this position participates in the preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel's facilities and acts as the resource person in their absence.</p><p class="text-node">The maintenance attendant plays a key role in maintaining the quality of the facilities, ensuring the safety of the premises, and providing comfort for our guests.</p><p class="text-node"><span style="color: rgb(81, 81, 81);">Main responsibilities</span></p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Perform general maintenance work on the hotel and its equipment.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure follow-up on the preventive maintenance program.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Carry out minor repairs in plumbing, electricity, painting, carpentry, and building mechanics.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Conduct regular inspections of public spaces and technical equipment.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Respond promptly to service requests from various departments.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participate in renovation and facility improvement projects.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at work.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain work orders and keep maintenance records up to date.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Collaborate with suppliers and external contractors during specialized interventions.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Maintain an adequate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for operations.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Assist the Maintenance Director in the daily organization of operations.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ensure business continuity of the department during the absence of the Maintenance Director.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Act as the head of the maintenance department during the director's leave, vacation, or other absences.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Participate in coordinating work priorities and operational emergencies.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>

Requirements

<ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">DEP in general building maintenance, building mechanics, or equivalent experience.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in building maintenance, ideally in hospitality.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">General knowledge of plumbing, electricity, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and carpentry.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Ability to quickly diagnose problems and propose effective solutions.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Leadership, sense of responsibility, and autonomy.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Excellent prioritization skills and ability to work under pressure.</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Good customer service and team spirit.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"><br></p>
