<p class="text-node"><strong>POSITION OBJECTIVE</strong></p><p class="text-node">The Food &amp; Beverage Supervisor reports directly to the Food &amp; Beverage Manager. The Supervisor is responsible for directly overseeing the daily operations of the various food and beverage outlets, ensuring that the service standards established by RIMAP Hospitality Services and the brand are consistently met, while exceeding guest expectations.</p><p class="text-node"><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p class="text-node"><strong>Operational Management and Guest Service</strong></p><p class="text-node">· Ensure the smooth daily operation of all food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, banquets, room service, and Café counter;<br>· Ensure compliance with the service standards and procedures established by the property on a daily basis;<br>· Have thorough knowledge of all products offered, including menus, wines, liquors, and spirits;<br>· Ensure a memorable guest experience in accordance with RIMAP and franchise standards, while contributing to guest satisfaction and loyalty;<br>· Handle guest concerns and special situations proactively, empathetically, and professionally;</p><p class="text-node"><strong>People Management</strong></p><p class="text-node">· Be physically present and actively involved on the floor to support, guide, and motivate team members on a daily basis;<br>· Foster a positive and engaging work environment where collaboration, communication, and teamwork are encouraged;<br>· Address operational issues promptly and effectively, in collaboration with other members of the team;<br>· Provide support in the overall management of the department;<br>· Participate in employee scheduling while ensuring compliance with the collective agreement;<br>· Collaborate on the development and follow-up of action plans for different periods throughout the year;<br>· Participate in the organization and facilitation of departmental meetings;<br>· Actively participate in committees and initiatives aimed at continuously improving the guest experience and employee well-being;<br>· Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety policies and procedures when handling food and beverages (MAPAQ).</p><p class="text-node"><strong>WHAT THE PROPERTY OFFERS</strong></p><p class="text-node">· Hilton team member travel benefits and discounted rates at Hilton properties;<br>· Free parking;<br>· 30% monthly discount on OPUS transit passes;<br>· Dry-cleaning service;<br>· Group insurance benefits;<br>· RRSP retirement plan;<br>· Training and professional development opportunities.</p>

Requirements

<p class="text-node"><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></p><p class="text-node">Variable work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position requires a high degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt to busy periods and unexpected situations. Work organization may vary depending on the tourism season and operational needs.</p><p class="text-node"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS</strong></p><p class="text-node">· Minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a Food &amp; Beverage Supervisor in a high-volume operation;<br>· Previous experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in a unionized environment;<br>· Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Food &amp; Beverage Management, or equivalent experience;<br>· MAPAQ certification (an asset);<br>· Proficiency with computer systems and POS systems used in hotel operations, with a strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards;<br>· Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire a team in order to maintain a high level of performance focused on guest satisfaction;<br>· Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and demonstrate strong attention to detail, structure, and organizational skills;<br>· Strong problem-solving skills;<br>· Strong sense of autonomy and initiative, with the ability to take action quickly;<br>· Excellent oral communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively and comfortably with an international clientele on a regular basis.</p><p class="text-node"><em>*Our organization is committed to employment equity and to recruiting a diverse workforce while fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
