I've worked in service in a variety of demains – cafes, restaurants, and hotels. The hotel I worked in, as it happens, is my family's hotel in Prince Edward Island, where I worked as a bartender, a bar back, a server, and helping out in the kitchen. Both of my parents started their careers as hoteliers themselves – my father is still involved in the P.E.I. hotel (Shaw's Hotel and Resorts), and my mother worked as the Food and Beverage Director at the Delta Chelsea Inn. Being raised by two experts in hospitality has given me the gift of proper tact, attentiveness, and the art of entertaining guests. 
I am comfortable with facing customers and attending to their needs – as well as helping other staff. I am also comfortable with moving over 30 lbs items if need be.
