Position Description

The Order Coordinator plays a key role between sales, procurement, and logistics. This person is responsible for the day-to-day management of customer orders, ensuring their accuracy and their proper transmission to the preparation and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, enter, and validate customer orders (text message, email, phone)

• Coordinate with the procurement and preparation teams

• Check product availability and make adjustments or substitutions as needed

• Monitor orders, deliveries, and returns

• Communicate proactively with customers when changes arise

• Provide administrative support related to orders (basic invoicing, follow-up)

• Work closely with the shop team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Profile Sought

• Excellent organizational skills and strong ability to prioritize

• Comfortable using Excel / Google Sheets and basic digital tools (email)

• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure, especially during peak periods

• Autonomous, detail-oriented, strong sense of responsibility, and team-oriented

• Experience in agri-food, logistics, or customer service (an asset)

• Knowledge of fresh products (fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, nuts)

• Familiarity with the Montreal restaurant industry (an asset)

• Bilingual in French and English
