Job Title: Executive Chef

Place of work: 3125 Bd Hochelaga, Quebec, QC G1W 2P9

Status: Full time

Salary: from $65,000/year

Reporting to the General Manager, the Executive Chef ensures the smooth running of his department.

Task description:

  • Manage the flow of all kitchen tasks
  • Maintain high standards
  • Manage the department's financial resources and meet budget targets
  • Manage team human resources
  • Manage the department's material resources
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Order and manage kitchen inventory
  • Monitor deliveries of group functions
  • Transmit data required for payroll processing
  • Plan staffing needs and schedule employees
  • Develop menus for all points of service
  • Plan and organize daily work

Education:

  • D.E.P. (Diploma of Professional Studies) – Requirement

Years of experience required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of kitchen and team management experience is required

Languages:

  • French and English bilingualism is required in this position because we serve an international clientele.
