With both hot and cold production capabilities, we serve a wide range of commercial clients and prioritize consistency, safety, and efficiency in everything we do.
We are currently seeking a Cold Production Cook to join our operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual looking to grow their leadership career in a fast-paced, industrial food production environment.
Position Summary
The Production Cook is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the cold production side. This includes managing a small team, coordinating batch preparation, and operating various industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing, leadership experience, and a solid understanding of food safety and quality protocols.
Key Responsibilities
•Supervise day-to-day operations on the cold production line
•Coordinate and execute batching, mixing, and processing activities
•Operate and train staff on equipment such as blixers, immersion blenders, and other industrial mixers
•Ensure all production tasks follow quality and safety standards (HACCP preferably but not mandatory).
•Monitor inventory usage and communicate needs to inventory and procurement teams
•Lift and handle raw materials, including 50 lb bags, safely and efficiently
•Complete and verify production paperwork and batch records accurately
•Support and enforce company policies, food safety practices, and sanitation protocols
•Train, coach, and support team members to meet daily production goals
•Report production issues, downtime, or equipment concerns to the Production Manager promptly
Requirements
•Minimum 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing or industrial kitchen environment
•Prior leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred
•Experience with cold or hot production processes or liquid food products is a plus
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
•Proficient in operating industrial kitchen equipment
•Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety protocols
•Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
