Job description

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will oversee the Catering and Banquet activities of our client in Drummondville.

đź’° Annual salary: $60,000

Main Responsibilities:

âś… Ensure the financial performance of banquets and implement the necessary actions to achieve financial and performance objectives
âś… Guarantee that operational standards are aligned with company expectations: customer experience, product quality, restaurant activities, sales practices, profitability, marketing, and human resources
âś… Provide training, coaching, and support to ensure standards are properly applied
âś… Oversee the Event Coordinators, Banquet Manager, and Executive Chef
âś… Recruit, develop, and integrate management staff in collaboration with the HR team
âś… Promote and sustain an organizational culture aligned with company values
âś… Participate in the development and implementation of projects within the event services department
âś… Train and communicate with the Executive Chef, Sales Coordinator, and employees under your supervision when implementing systems, programs, or menu items
âś… Demonstrate creativity and leverage your network to enhance the visibility of the banquet market in the region
âś… Recommend specific marketing initiatives to drive financial growth and expand banquet service markets

Requirements

🎯 Requirements

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Banquet Director
Degree or training in hospitality and/or event management (an asset)
Valid Canadian work permit
