Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Location: Melia Steak & Bar, 6834 Boul. Saint-Laurent, Montréal, QC, H2S 3C7
Job Type: Full-time
Experience Level: 2+ years in restaurant management
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar

  • Ensure high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and food quality

  • Manage and train front-of-house staff (servers, bartenders, hosts)

  • Schedule employees and ensure proper staffing

  • Handle customer complaints with professionalism and tact

  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service

  • Manage inventory, supplies, and ordering

  • Monitor costs and assist with budgeting and performance goals

  • Uphold health & safety and Québec liquor license regulations

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a management role in the hospitality industry

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Bilingual: French and English (required)

  • Knowledge of restaurant POS systems (e.g., Lightspeed, TouchBistro)

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
