Job description
WHO WE ARE:
Levy is the exclusive caterer for the Bell Centre, home of the Montreal Canadiens and evenko production company. Levy specializes in catering for sports teams arenas and stadiums across North America. Working in an exceptional environment, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of major events such as hockey games, shows, outdoor festivals, and numerous private events and banquets. Assisted by a team of experienced managers, the candidate will evolve in the dynamic environment of event planning. The position is full-time during the hockey season and part-time during the summer season.
Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will be responsible for:
• Helping to develop seasonal menus in line with customer expectations and operational standards and norms.
• Manage the team, including training, motivation, schedules, disciplinary measures, etc.
• Actively participate in inventory taking, food ordering, and the compilation of revenue, purchase, and sales reports.
• Ensure that portion sizes and food presentation are respected.
• Check the quality of food upon arrival and monitor stock rotation.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and health standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
