Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Dessert Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and excellent interpersonal skills. This role involves providing exceptional service to guests, preparing food items, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. The Specialist will play a key role in delivering a positive dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing guest inquiries and requests
  • Manage cashier duties, including processing payments accurately and upselling menu items when appropriate
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety throughout all tasks
