Job description
Bottega Pizzeria is a must-visit for Italian cuisine. Renowned for its Neapolitan pizzas and traditional dishes, Bottega offers an authentic and welcoming dining experience for both guests and our kitchen team.
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in food preparation and kitchen management. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role supporting the Head Chef in daily operations, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage inventory, including placing orders with suppliers.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
- Assist the Chef in planning specials and food preparation.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met.
Requirements
- Experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
- Excellent skills to effectively manage, supervise, and motivate staff.
- Proficiency in various culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, fostering team collaboration.
