Title of position: Kitchen Helpers – 2 positions
Job duties:
· Wash and peel vegetables and fruit
· Wash work tables, cupboards and appliances
· Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
· Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas
· Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.
· Assist in the daily food preparation process
· Monitor and record kitchen refrigeration temperatures.
· Maintain proper security protocols, checking doors, and making sure that bins and other storage devices are properly closed and locked.
· Communicate with senior kitchen staff, on status of cleaning supplies, and dishwashing chemicals

Terms of employment: Temporary- 2-year contract. This is a full-time position at 35 hours per week.
Benefits: one free meal per day
Language of work- English
Wages- $ 17.50/hr plus tips for 35 hours per week. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week at a rate of 1.5 times the hourly normal rate per hour.
