Description du poste

• Prepare and cook both individual and group-sized lunch, dinner and dessert
specialty dishes using traditional techniques and recipes, regional flavor profiles, and culturally specific presentation styles.
• Requisition food, ingredients, and kitchen supplies — including imported Filipino products — and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date inventory records to ensure timely ordering, proper stock rotation, and adherence to best‑before dates.
• Maintain clean kitchen and food service areas and perform periodic inspections to ensure restaurant and kitchen areas meet internal and external health, safety, and sanitation requirements, and uphold strict hygiene and food safety handling procedures.
• Oversee kitchen operations and activities, and supervise kitchen staff and
support teams during food and ingredient handling, plating, and other kitchen
tasks to ensure all kitchen activities comply with health and safety standards, and that food presentation consistently reflects authentic Filipino culinary styles.
• Support menu planning and coordinate food preparation for dine‑in, take‑out, and catering services by identifying required ingredients and estimating quantities based on expected customer demand and service volumes.
• Determine appropriate food portion sizes by evaluating the type and combination of dish(es) being served, making sure to align portioning with menu pricing and cost targets.
• Provide training to kitchen staff on food preparation specific to Filipino cooking techniques, proper handling of ingredients and food safety procedures, and internal workflow processes that align with the restaurant’s operations and overall brand.
• Coordinate and participate in food preparation and cooking for corporate
catering, private events, summer festivals, off‑site functions, and food truck
service, ensuring efficient workflow and consistent quality during high‑volume production.
• Assist with organizing kitchen staff schedules by providing input on staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage based on food preparation and service needs.
