Position Title & # Of Vacancies: Restaurant Manager (1 Position)

Job Details

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, with a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment. It requires both physical stamina and mental agility to manage operations, solve problems quickly, and maintain team morale while ensuring high standards of food quality and safety

Skills Requirements

Education: Completion of college is required. Food Safety Certificate and Responsible Beverage Service Certification is required.

Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in the food or retail service industry or

completion of community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant

management or related discipline is required.
