Sean Simons - Bio






 Sean Simons was most recently the Corporate Executive Chef for Hogtown Smoke/Fraser Management Group. Sean has been working in the hospitality industry for over 35 years. The bulk of that time in leading positions. After starting at Harvey’s chipping fries and flipping burgers, Sean began what could be considered the backbone of his career. The Steakhouse. Two years at Crock & Block followed by over six at The Keg would build a solid foundation for what was yet to come. While at The Keg, Sean studied percussion at Humber College and cut two not at all successful albums with a band. After many sleepless nights on park benches, Sean realized that Rockstardom was not to be so he threw himself at the restaurant business. This led to running the kitchens at Ruth’s Chris, Hy’s, and Morton’s steakhouses. Determined not to be considered a “one trick pony” Sean has successfully run sports bars, commissaries, BBQ joints, catering operations and consulting projects throughout his career. His copious amounts of free time are filled with spending time with his two kids, dreaming about his failed music career, dining out, watching sports and generally chilling out.
